Pirates of the Caribbean at World’s End

Maybe it was just me but I simply couldn’t get into this movie very much. The plot was more complicated than the second movie and I couldn’t follow things very well. The action was good, which is what counts the most these days in Hollywood, I guess. It just seemed very convoluted and everything. It was kind of like Erik the Viking meets the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and that mix of metaspiritual and comedy action love story just seemed a bit much.

I’d give it a 7 out of 10 though. Worth seeing if you enjoyed the other movies but if you weren’t much of a fan to begin with you can skip it.
